Fragments of Tomorrow
Like the other humans on Earth, Ixe was created, not born. It's been 600 years since humanity fled the planet, leaving a single AI program to clean up their mess. Now Ixe is approaching their 20th birthday, which means they will be cast from the city and into a world they don't know, with no support from their robot guardian. As the day grows closer and the mix of anxiety and excitement within them grows, an unknown ship lands outside of the city, leaving the Bots and humans confused. When curiosity gets the better of them, Ixe sneaks out of the city to investigate, placing them in the hands of a new enemy. The humans of legend have returned and they believe the key to their existence lies within modified human genes. Now Ixe's only hope lies in a 600 year old soldier and his feelings for the modified human in his care. Can they escape confinement, rally the troops, and stop the plague of humans from destroying the world again? Or will revenge take away everything Ixe has come to care about?

Political tensions flare as they hit roadblock after roadblock, but someone is on their side in a sinister way. Barriers are suddenly removed as people are murdered in gruesome ways, leaving doors open to peace talks. Ixe must navigate carefully in the tumultuous environment, as a suspect and a detective. Will they learn who their mysterious benefactor is before their plans come tumbling down around them? Or will the tension between the Bots, humans, and modified humans come to a head, leaving disaster in their wake?
