Shadows of Legacy

Genocide. The word reverberates through Ixe’s head as they stare down at the man they love, the man they have doomed to die. What they aren’t prepared for is the hope that rains from the sky, hope in the form of more human ships, hope mixed with terror as they realize this war is far from over. However, this war is different, and Ixe is the pivotal figure; bringing humans and modified humans together in peace. Political tensions flare as they hit roadblock after roadblock, but someone is on their side in a sinister way. Barriers are suddenly removed as people are murdered in gruesome ways, leaving doors open to peace talks. Ixe must navigate carefully in the tumultuous environment, as a suspect and a detective. Will they learn who their mysterious benefactor is before their plans come tumbling down around them? Or will the tension between the Bots, humans, and modified humans come to a head, leaving disaster in their wake?
